David Eugene Cressman, 79, of Franconia Township, passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 12, 2026. He was the beloved husband of the late Nancy L. Cressman, with whom he shared 41 years of marriage and a lifetime of memories.
Born in Sellersville, he was the son of the late Abe and Alma Cressman. A man who found purpose on the road, David worked as a professional truck driver for many years. In his later years, he brought that same dedication to the Levy School Bus Company, where he enjoyed the daily interactions and responsibility of driving a school bus for local students.
David's life was defined by his commitment to his community and his neighbors. He was a long-standing and active member of the Harleysville Fire Company with their Fire Police, as well as a member of the Montgomery County Fire Police Association. When he wasn't volunteering his time for public safety, he could often be found at the Quakertown Train Station, where he served as a dedicated volunteer, or enjoying the camaraderie and outdoors at the Branch Valley Gun & Sports Club.
He is survived by his children: Tina Hazelett and her husband, Ed; David Cressman; Kenneth Cressman; Robert Cressman and his wife, Allegra; and Christopher Cressman and his wife, Lisa. David's greatest legacy remains his 16 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
Family and friends are invited to a viewing on Wednesday, March 18, from 5:00 to 7:00 PM at Williams-Bergey-Koffel Funeral Home, Inc., 667 Harleysville Pike, Telford. An additional viewing will take place on Thursday, March 19, from 10:00 to 10:45 AM at Franconia Mennonite Church, 613 Harleysville Pike, Telford, where a funeral service will follow at 11:00 AM. Interment will take place in the adjoining church cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in David's name to the Quakertown Train Station Historical Society, 15 Front Street, Quakertown, PA 18951, or to the Harleysville Fire Company.
