David Earl Beyer, age 86, of Souderton, passed away on Sunday, August 2, 2026. He was the beloved husband of Sadie (Bergey) Beyer, with whom he shared over 66 years of marriage.

Born September 10, 1939, in Souderton, he was a son of the late Lloyd and Susan (Benner) Beyer.

David will be remembered for his kindness, steady presence and the meaningful impact he had on the lives of those who he knew and loved him. Throughout his life, he built lasting relationships with family, friends, neighbors, and community members, leaving behind memories that will be cherished for years to come. 

In addition to his wife Sadie, David is survived by his children Barbara Lynne Mack (Jesse Dean) David Lee Beyer (Laura), Suzanne Jannelle Schwabe (Robert); his grandchildren Katelynn Brooke Berndt, Sara Catherine Mack (Matthew Gargano), Benjamin David Beyer and Zachary Earl Schwabe; his siblings Rhoda Rittenhouse, James Beyer (Louise), Ruth Rittenhouse (Abe), Anna Trauger (Richard), Ada Souder, Susie Beyer (Karen), Bernice Kauffman (Armon) and Aaron Beyer (Karen). He is also survived by many extended family members and friends.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings Lois Rohr, Luke Beyer and Mary Alderfer.

A celebration of life for David will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday August 29, 2026, at Souderton Mennonite Church, 105 Chestnut Street, Souderton, PA 18964, where the family will greet guests from 10:00 – 10:45 AM. Interment will be private.
