Dan Black, age 55, of Quakertown, passed away on Saturday, September 30, 2023. He was the beloved husband of Heather (Dennis) Black, with whom he shared over 13 years of marriage.

Born July 24, 1968, in Pittsburgh, he was a son of Samuel and the late Jean (Rice) Black.

Dan was an avid Pittsburgh Steeler fan and loved watching the games. He was also very involved with his church, Valley View Bible, where he served as deacon, treasurer and sound board operator. He also enjoyed hiking and taking walks with his wife and dogs.

In addition to his wife and father, he is survived by brothers, Randy and Steve Black; sister, Laura Fishburn and her husband, Mark; brother-in-law, Dan Kozarovich; nieces and nephews, Adam Fishburn, Crystal Gunther and her husband Ian, Samuel Fishburn, Rachel Miller and her husband Kendall, Daniel Kozarovich and his wife Julie and Dale Kozarovich.  He is also survived by six great nieces and nephews, extended family and his two fur babies, Daphne and Daisy. He was preceded in death by his sister, Donna Kozarovich.

A funeral service for Dan will take place on Saturday, October 7, at 11:00 AM at Valley View Bible Church, 315 Barndt Road, Telford, PA 18969. Interment will be private.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Dan's name may be made to Valley View Bible Church at the address above.
