Corrine B. Mininger, age 27, of Telford, passed away on Thursday, March 24, 2022.
Born April 1, 1994, in Sellersville, she was a daughter of Bryce Lydell and Dorothy Jean (Bangert) Mininger.
Corrine was a wonderful loving, caring young lady with a number of passions that became the focus of her life. From an early age she developed a special place in her heart for horses and with the help of some special teachers in the horse world she learned to ride and enjoy everything horse related. Three horses, Raven, Cody, and Stormy were privileged to occupy a place in her barn and field and provided her with many hours of enjoyment as she refined her skills. The Buxmont Riding Club show grounds were the scene for many weekends of competition and volunteering, and she became a fixture at the board meetings as well.
To earn money to pay for the feed for her horses, Corrine took on the challenge of cosmetology school and successfully passed the state certification exam and practiced as a hair stylist at a number of locations including Holiday Hair in Coopersburg. She also enjoyed roaming the course at the Blue Bell Country Club on the beverage cart when she wasn't playing golf with her fiancé James.
She had desire to serve and see the world and was blessed to be a part of six mission trips through her church Souderton Mennonite, twice each to Haiti, Alaska, and Montana, putting aside her own needs to do something to help others less privileged than herself.
Family was extremely important to Corrine and one of the highlights of her year was the annual Memorial Day trip to her great- grandfathers hunting cabin at Bear Mountain with all her cousins.
Corrine loved to bring people together to have fun and was the chief party planner for the Mininger household. If it was snowing, she soon was on her phone seeing who could come over to enjoy the family sledding hill until late into the night. As her mobility decreased due to a 17-month battle with urachal adenocarcinoma, she maintained her love of card and board games and invited friends and relatives over to share those special times. Her favorite color turned firmly to purple during her cancer battle, and her hair color became an expression of her will and determination to jump over the next obstacle in her path.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by her brother Drew Mininger and his wife Brooke; nephews Owen and Remi; grandmothers Nancy Mininger and Dorothy Bangert; and fiancé James Braunsberg.
A memorial service for Corrine will be held at 6:00 PM on Friday, April 1, 2022, at Franconia Mennonite Church, 613 Harleysville Pike, Telford, PA 18969, with a visitation to follow.
