Claire M. Scamardi, 95, of Harleysville, passed away on Thursday, February 9, 2023. She was the beloved wife of the late Louis A. Scamardi. They were blessed to be married for over 73 years!

Born in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late Louis and Marie Fink.  Claire attended St. Bonaventure Catholic School.  She was one of seven siblings: Louis, William, Walter, Ida, Jean and Helen.

Claire was the sweetest and kindest soul! She had a heart of gold and lit up the room with her smile and grace.  She was a very simple and modest person who enjoyed being with her family, cooking and baking her favorite desserts, going on day trips to the casino with her late husband, Louie, and babysitting infants and young children to help out the families and single moms of St. Williams Church and in her community.

Claire is survived by her daughter, Diane Scamardi-Mills; her son-in-law, Michael Mills; her two sons, Michael Scamardi and his wife, Kathy, and Mark Scamardi and his wife, Lynne; her six grandchildren, Brendan, Ava, Dana, Eric, Ryan and Austin; and three great grandchildren, Nina, Siena, and Stella Rose.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, March 18, 2023, at the Williams-Bergey-Koffel Funeral Home, Inc., 667 Harleysville Pike, Telford, 18969 where family will receive friends beginning at 10:00 AM. All are welcome.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in Claire's name to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital
