Chester F. Moyer, 88, a resident of Harleysville, PA, since 1961, passed away early Sunday morning, December 22, 2024. He and his wife, Joyce A. (Deemer) Moyer, observed their 69th wedding anniversary on June 18th of this year.

Born March 22, 1936, he grew up in Skippack, PA, and was raised by his grandmother, Ruth Moyer. He attended Collegeville/Trappe High School.

Mr. Moyer was employed as a skilled carpenter for all of his working life. He began his career with Kelly Builders and continued with the company for many years as it later became R & R Builders. He attended Christ Lutheran Church in Harleysville, PA, and was a member of the Perkiomen Valley Snowgoers Snowmobile Club and a golf league at Wentz's U.C.C. Church in Worcester, PA. He and his wife enjoyed traveling and going on cruises. He enjoyed gardening and was a devoted fan of the Philadelphia Phillies, Eagles and Flyers.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by four daughters, Bonnie Konya and her husband, David, of Ocean City, NJ, Beverly Moyer and her husband, David, of Franconia, PA, Barbara Greenwalt and her husband, Jeff, of Harleysville, PA, and Beth Detweiler and her husband, Troy, of Silverdale, PA. He is also survived by nine grandchildren, Kevin, Heather, Brandon, Jared, Melissa, Jacki, Kyle, Alicia and Alexis; and 22 great grandchildren.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his memorial service at 11 am on January 18, 2025, at Elm Terrace Gardens, 660 N. Broad St., Lansdale, PA 19446, where family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Parking will be available at the church on 7th Street across from Elm Terrace Gardens. Once parked, cross the street at the crosswalk and enter Elm Terrace Gardens at the business entrance.
