Charles H. Stackhouse, Jr., 94, of Lansdale, PA, passed away peacefully on Monday, March 23, 2026. He was the beloved husband of Anna (Scutti) Stackhouse.

Born in Lakehurst, NJ, he was the son of the late Charles and Florence Stackhouse. Charles was a graduate of Frankford High School, Class of 1949.

He started his career as a cable splicer for Bell of Pennsylvania. He gravitated toward Union Organizing serving first as a local representative, then Local President eventually becoming Vice President of the Federation of the Telephone Workers of Pennsylvania. When the FTWP merged with the CWA he became Assistant Vice President of CWA District 13, leaving a lasting impact on those he represented.

He was an award-winning winemaker who owned and operated a local winery for a short time.   He enjoyed cooking, woodworking, and gardening and invented many gadgets designed to fill whatever need he had in the moment.  He was a voracious reader in pursuit of his hobbies, lifelong learning and keeping abreast of current events.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his former wife and friend Barbara and their children: Barbara Siwa (David); Mark Stackhouse (Mary); Larry Stackhouse (Caryn); Matthew Stackhouse (Kathy).
