Charles Russell "Knute" Frederick age 94, of Souderton, passed away peacefully, on March 31, 2025. He was the beloved husband of the late Marilyn (Cope) Frederick with whom he shared over 69 years of marriage.

Born April 25, 1930, in Sellersville, he was a son of the late Russell and Marie (Koenig) Frederick.

After 36 years delivering mail for the Souderton Post Office, Knute retired in 1992. He loved his job and especially enjoyed serving and interacting with the residents on his route.

Knute enjoyed watching professional sports, especially football, basketball, baseball, and hockey. In his free time, he loved bike riding, bowling, playing golf, and working in the yard. He was involved in many activities with his children and grandchildren and relished time with the family and his beloved dog, Reggie. He will be greatly missed.

He is survived by his children Colleen Campbell of Souderton PA, Scott Frederick of Hagerstown, MD; grandchildren Aleks and William Campbell and Sloan and Trevor Frederick.

A memorial service for Knute will take place at 11:00 AM on Friday May 23, 2025, at Souderton Mennonite Homes Chapel, 207 W. Summit Street, Souderton, where the family will greet guests from 10:00 – 10:45 AM. Interment will be private.
