Cecilia "Dawn" Marlin, 84, a resident of Souderton, PA, passed away on Thursday, August 11, 2022.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Marlin, who passed away in 2006.  They had been married for 50 years at the time of his passing.

Born January 5, 1938 in Lansdale, PA. She was a daughter of the late Darwin and Sophie Umstead.  She graduated from Lansdale Catholic High School in 1956.

Dawn worked as secretary at Teva Pharmaceutical Industries for 32 years, retiring in 2000.  She was best known for her love of antiques and birds. She enjoyed gardening and crossword puzzles.  She always enjoyed vacationing with good friends and after retirement, snowbirding in Florida.  She was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and friend.

She is survived by her two sons, Michael Marlin and his wife, Beth, and Gregory Marlin and his wife, Lisa; five grandchildren, Carissa Goodwin (Brandon), Tiffany Combs (Todd), Trisha Rivera (Magdiel), Casey Marlin (Libra), and Gregory Marlin Jr. (Ashley), and 10 great grandchildren.  She is also survived by three sisters, Cathy Maris (Howard), Carole Proud (Bill), and Colleen Emig (Donald) along with numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family.
