Catherine Lura Hangey, age 93, of Sellersville, formerly of Schwenksville, passed away on Sunday, January 28, 2024. She was the beloved wife of the late Galen L. Hangey, with whom she shared many years of marriage.

Born February 18, 1930, in Telford, she was a daughter of the late Paul S. and Anna M. (Blank) Barndt.

Catherine is survived by her children Barry Hangey and his wife Karen of East Greenville, PA, Ronald Scott Hangey and his wife Rosemary of Green Lane, PA, Cindy Bencsik and her husband Frank of Huntingdon, PA and Linda Shive and her husband Bill of Coopersburg; numerous grandchildren and several great grandchildren.

A memorial service for Catherine will take place at 11:00 AM on Saturday, February 24, 2024, at the Williams-Bergey-Koffel Funeral Home, 667 Harleysville Pike, Telford, where the family will greet guests from 10:00 – 10:45 AM.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Catherine's name may be made to a charity of donor's choice.
