Carole (Hunsberger) Scholl, 87, a former long-time resident of Harleysville, PA, passed away Saturday morning, June 6, 2026, at Lutheran Community at Telford. She was the wife of the late Terry R. Scholl who passed away October 28, 2013.

Born December 14, 1938, in Sellersville, PA, she was the daughter of the late Harold and Dorothy (Moyer) Hunsberger. She was a 1956 graduate of Pennridge High School.

Mrs. Scholl was employed with Harleysville Insurance and was a piano teacher to many students over the years in her home. She was also a Mary Kay skin care consultant.

An active member of Zion Mennonite Church in Souderton, PA, she sang in the choir and participated in the hand bell choir. She also played piano for community Thanksgiving and Christmas dinners at the church. She loved music and enjoyed taking painting lessons. She was active with the Fraternal Order of Police while her husband served as Chief of Police with the Lower Salford Township Police Department. Carole was an avid Phillies fan and loved to watch all of their games.

Surviving are three children, Tami Pascucci of Telford, PA, Randy Scholl of Harleysville, PA, and Wendy Smith and her husband, Jerry, of Harleysville, PA. She is also survived by four grandchildren, Jenna, Brandon, Alyssa and Chris; and four great grandchildren, Gabbi, Noelle, Ben and Avianna.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by a brother, George Ray Hunsberger.

The family will receive friends from 10-10:45 am on Saturday, June 13, 2026, at Williams-Bergey-Koffel Funeral Home, Inc., 667 Harleysville Pike, Telford, PA, with the public memorial service beginning at 11 am. Interment will follow at Zion Memorial Gardens.
