Carol G. Hunsicker, age 83, of Souderton, passed away on Wednesday, March 8, 2023. She was the beloved wife of the late J. Edward Hunsicker, with whom she shared many years of marriage.

Born October 13, 1939, in Lansdale, she was a daughter of the late Albert J. and Martha Cory (Walker) Guenst.

She was a lifetime member of Perseverance Volunteer Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary. Carol was a dear, loving lady who spent her entire adult life caring for her husband Ed and their miniature Schnauzers. Her last Schnauzer, Sugar, saw her several times a week and will truly miss her. Carol and her husband owned a home in Souderton and at Lake Wallenpaupak, where they spent many weekends and vacations with friends and family. The lake house was a highlight of her life, preceded only by her husband and dogs.

Carol is survived by her sister, Jeanette Ashforth; nephew, David Ashforth; sister-in-law, Doris Moyer; brother-in-law, Gerald Hunsicker and his wife, Terri; nephew-in-law, David Moyer and his wife, Sandra; and niece-in-law, Debra Shaffer. In addition to her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by her sister, Paula Kay Mustoe; and her two nieces, Marjorie Horutz and Susan DeRosa.

Services for Carol will take place at 11:00 AM on March 14, 2023, at the Williams- Bergey-Koffel Funeral Home Inc., 667 Harleysville Pike, Telford, where the family will greet guests from 10:00 – 10:45 AM. Interment will take place at Hillside Cemetery in Souderton.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Carol's name may be made to either the Perseverance Volunteer Fire Company, 266 N. 2nd Street, Souderton, PA 18964 or Grand View Hospice, 700 Lawn Avenue, Sellersville, PA 18960.
