Obituary

Brian David Schwartz, age 44, of Fayetteville, Arkansas, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, December 3, 2023. Born October 17, 1979, in Philadelphia, he was a son of Nathan W. Schwartz and Beverly T. Childs.

Brian earned his Bachelors of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering from Penn State University, graduating in 2002.  He also had a Professional Engineer (PE) License. Over the years, he was employed by AMTRAK, New Jersey Transit, STV, SYSTRA USA, Siemens, STV, Alstom and his current employer Bowman Engineering/Consulting Inc.   Brian enjoyed cooking, grilling and smoking food. He enjoyed music, especially the Beach Boys, The Beatles and Bob Dylan as well as Star Trek.  Brian was also well versed in playing the clarinet and gave his son his old clarinet from 5th grade. Brian will be greatly missed.

He is survived by his father Nathan William Schwartz and his wife Charlene (Johnson) Schwartz of Harleysville and his mother Beverly Tina (Weintraub) Childs and her husband Jim Childs of Telford; son Zachary Eugene Schwartz and his mother Kate Schwartz of Denville, NJ; sister Monica Lorraine Ferraro and her husband Anthony Ferraro of Douglassville.  He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Services for Brian will be private.
