Richard Brian Conver, 51, passed away after a long illness on Saturday night, June 11, 2022, at his home in Upper Frederick Township, PA, where he lived for the last 12 years. Brian grew up in Souderton, PA. He and his wife, Tricia (Reichenbach) Conver, celebrated their 21 st wedding anniversary on November 11 th of last year.
Born October 26, 1970, in Sellersville, PA, he was a son of Louise Mae (Rubendall) Swartz and her husband John of Albrightsville, PA and the late Norman Brent Conver, Sr. He was a graduate of Souderton Area High School.
Prior to becoming disabled in 2010, he was employed as a machinist with Beta Star. He was an ambassador for the Gift of Life organization in Philadelphia, PA and passionately advocated for organ donation. Brian spent a lot of time at the softball fields, coaching and supporting his daughter's teams. His kids were his everything and he treasured the memories they were making.
Brian was a diehard Philadelphia Eagles fan, enjoyed game nights with his family and loved music and attending concerts even with the occasional moshing. He enjoyed fishing, gardening (he was quite proud of his plants), poker, and watching his kids and nieces and nephews at their various sports. Brian loved the sun and would bask in it all day if he could.
In addition to his wife and mother, he is survived by two children, Madelynn Claire Conver and Evan James Conver, both at home; his sister, Jennifer Walton and her husband, Scott, of Lansdale, PA; his brother, N. Brent Conver of Souderton, PA; and nieces and nephews: Brianna, Benjamin, Jake, Noah, Aly, Seth, Logan and Kellen. He is also survived by his mother-in-law, Patty Gogel and Scott Gogel of Quakertown, PA; his father-in-law, Dale Reichenbach and Sue Reichenbach of Phoenixville, PA; and his sister-in-law, Kimberly Cates and Tyler Cates of Lansdale, PA.
Brian's family would like to thank his three organ donors for their gifts of life as well as his incredible transplant team at Georgetown Hospital in Washington, DC. They would also like to thank their extended family and friends for the unconditional love and endless support given to them throughout the last 20+ years.
Family will receive friends from 6-7:30pm on Friday, June 17, 2022, at Williams-Bergey-Koffel Funeral Home, Inc., 667 Harleysville Pike, Telford (Franconia Twp.), PA. Services and interment will be private. For those desiring, contributions may be made in his memory to Gift of Life Family House, 401 Callowhill Street, Philadelphia, PA 19123.
