Obituary

Betty Jane Massaro, age 92, of Quakertown, passed away on Monday, March 25, 2024. She was the beloved wife of the late Joseph Kaiton Massaro, with whom she shared over 45 years.

Born April 4, 1931, in Summit New Jersey, she was a daughter of the late Fred and Margaret Allen (Feeney) Nuse.

Betty was a long-time member of Calvary Baptist Church in Lansdale and volunteered in the Calvary Baptist School library. She was a Girl Scout leader and traveled to Ireland and Mexico. Betty was very family oriented, and she cherished the times she was able to spend with her family. She will be greatly missed.

Betty is survived by her children Margaret Wood and her husband Howard, John Massaro and his wife Helen, Fred Massaro, Mark Massaro and his wife Cindi; grandchildren Jonathan Wood and his wife Selena, Heather Christensen and her husband Chris, Rebecca Tang and her husband Bryan, Katherine Keo and her husband Sopoan, Matthew Massaro and his wife Sarah, Timothy Massaro and his wife Vanessa, Lisa Brown and her husband Will, Joseph Massaro, Will Massaro and his wife Alyssa, Grace Athineos and her husband Nathan, John Massaro; great grandchildren Bella, George, Philip, Clara and Evan Christensen, Maddie, Lucia, Luca and Liam Massaro, Natalie and Jacob Wood. Leilani, Lincoln and Lindsey Keo and Maeve Tang. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and extended family.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister Peg Graetz.

A funeral service for Betty will take place at 11:00 AM on Thursday, March 28, 2024, at the Williams-Bergey-Koffel Funeral Home Inc., 667 Harleysville Pike, Telford, where the family will greet guests from 10:00 – 10:45 AM. Interment will be private.
