Bernard McCarthy, 92, of Schwenksville, passed away on Tuesday, April 25, 2023. He was the loving and devoted husband of Mary (Falsetta) McCarthy.
Born in Erie, he attended Millcreek High School, enlisted in the Army at age 17 along with his twin brother Len, and served during the Korean War.
He resided with his wife Mary in Washington Crossing, PA, before they moved and settled in Aiken, SC.
He enjoyed playing golf, trips to the casino to play Texas Hold'em, collecting guns, and going to car shows.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by a daughter, Christine (Tony); two sons, Bernard (Vicki) and Keith (Dawn); and ten grandchildren, Emily-Rose, Raymond "Alex", Douglas, Sarah, Rebecca, Rivers, Owen, Oliva, Madison and Evan.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Denise; and his brother, Leonard.
A graveside service will be held at Washington Crossing National Cemetery on May 17 th at 11:30 am.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, www.alz.org
