Dr. Benjamin L. Nase, D.D.S., 91, of Lower Salford Township, died on Tuesday, November 14, 2023.  He was the husband of the late Carol J. Nase, with whom he shared 63 years of marriage.

Born in Vauxhall, NJ, he was a son of the late Benjamin M. and Lena Nase.  He was a graduate of Goshen College, class of 1954 and a 1960 graduate of Case Western Reserve University, Dental.  He interned at the University of Pennsylvania Dental Program.

Dr. Nase served in the United States Army from 1954 to 1956.

Dr. Ben started Nase Dental in Harleysville in 1963.  He was a Pennsylvania State Dentist at Pennhurst for nine years and was the dentist for exams and surveys for Souderton Area School District.  He was an affiliate member of the American Dental Association.

Dr. Nase was a gentlemen farmer and enjoyed John Deere Tractors, photography, woodworking, going to estate auctions and antiquing.  He also enjoyed the challenge of complicated puzzles and keeping abreast of news events in his retirement.  He was an avid Phillies and Eagles fan.

He was a member of Salford Mennonite Church.

He is survived by a daughter, Holly Nase Tuminello, wife of Joseph; a daughter, Heather Rickert, wife of Jeffrey; a son, John Nase, husband of Denise; a son, Robert Nase, husband of Lisa; eleven grandchildren and two great-granddaughters.

A memorial service will be at 6 PM on Friday, December 15 at the Williams-Bergey-Koffel Funeral Home, Inc., 667 Harleysville Pike, Telford, 18969, where the family will receive friends from 5-5:45 PM.  Interment will be private in Salford Mennonite Church Cemetery.
