Barbara L. Walmsley, age 89, of Harleysville, formerly of Souderton, passed away on Tuesday October 6, 2026. She was the beloved wife of the late Henry Clay Walmsley, with whom she shared over 44 years of marriage.

Born April 5, 1937, in Glassboro NJ, she was a daughter of the late Clifford N. and Irma (Evans) Senor.

Barbara was an excellent cook, trained cake decorator, crafter, and crocheter. In her youth, she worked with her father as a bookkeeper at the White Star Laundry in Pitman. NJ. Barbara was certified as a beautician at Marinello School of Beauty. She also worked as a telephone operator for New Jersey Bell in Woodbury. While raising her children Barbara was a den mother for Cub Scout Pack 10 in Franconia and a homemaker. Family was very important to Barbara, and her home was always open and welcoming to family and friends at any time. She provided care and love for multiple generations. Barbara cared for many animals during her life and her love of animals was passed down to her children. She was an avid collector of chicken and rooster decorations.

Barbara is survived by her children Steven C. Walmsley and his wife Sherri of Souderton, Andrew D. Walmsley and his wife Alana of Virginia Beach, VA, Brian D. Walmsley of Warrington, Linda J. Landis and her husband Ray of Harleysville, Thomas C. Walmsley and his wife Jess Reese of Perkasie; 14 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her brother Robert C. Senor and sister Margaret A. Framer.

A funeral service for Barbara will take place at 11:00 am on Monday October 12, 2026, at the Williams-Bergey-Koffel Funeral Home Inc., 667 Harleysville Pike, Telford, where the family will greet guests from 10:00 – 10:45 AM. Interment will take place in Valley Forge Memorial Gardens.
