Barbara Ann Hughes

Barbara Ann Hughes, 91, of Harleysville, PA, passed away on Tuesday, September 15, 2026. She was the beloved wife of the late Donald W. Hughes.

Born October 25, 1934, in Philadelphia, PA, she was a daughter of the late James and Martha (Kirby) Kernodle.

Barbara worked in secretarial work, primarily for her husband's business, Donald W. Hughes Insurance. She played accordion with the USO and played organ for 50 years for her own enjoyment.

Barbara is survived by her children: Bradley Hughes (Constance) of Sellersville, PA; Eric Hughes (Louise) of Audubon, PA; Aileen Snyder (Daniel) of Clermont, FL; and Darryl Hughes (Michaela) of Hatfield, PA; along with seven grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and a sister Patricia Barton of Fairfax, VA.

A funeral service will be held at 11 AM on Tuesday, September 22, at the Williams-Bergey-Koffel Funeral Home, Inc., 667 Harleysville Pike, Telford, PA 18969, where visitation with the family will be from 10:00 to 11:00 AM. Interment will follow at George Washington Memorial Park, Plymouth Meeting, PA.
