Arthur Ronald "Ron" Hurt Jr., age 44, of Schwenksville, passed away July 15, 2026. He was the beloved husband of Jessica Nicole (Jarrell) Hurt with whom he shared over 21 years of marriage.

Born September 2, 1981, in Reading, he was a son of Arthur Ronald Sr. and Sandra (Groff) Hurt.

Ron was employed at Merck for over 20 years. He had a passion for cars and enjoyed taking out his Audi and going to car meets. He was a "foodie" and loved to sample different cuisine. He also loved to cook and grill. He enjoyed playing video games and reptiles, and had some as pets, as well as his two dogs, the late Kira and Titan.  He was a loving and caring husband, father and son. His family was his passion, and he cherished the times they spent together.

In addition to his wife and parents, he is survived by his children Troy Jacob and Josephine Anna Hurt; and sister Jennifer Weisenberger and her husband Eric. He is also survived by aunts, uncles and extended family members.

A celebration of life for Ron will take place on August 14, 2026, from 5:00 – 8:00 PM at Lower Frederick Fire Company, 137 Spring Mount Rd, Schwenksville, PA 19473.
