Arlene Ziegler Landis, 94, of Hatfield, formerly of Vernfield, passed away on Thursday, January 25, 2024.  She was the wife of the late Richard B. Landis.

Born in Franconia, she was the daughter of the late Norman K. and Ruth S. Ziegler.

Arlene was a graduate of Souderton High Area School, class of 1947.  She had worked at the Peter Becker Community for 20 years in the dietary department.

Arlene was a member of Zion Mennonite Church, Souderton.  She enjoyed reading and puzzles.

She is survived by her daughters, Phyllis Young (Bryan) of Pennsburg, Brenda Madrill of Pennsburg and Denise Kooker (Brad) of Telford, grandchildren, Monia (Varner) Green, Tanya (Young) Frankenfield, B. Troy Young, Naomi (Madrill) Hawkins, Rachel (Madrill) Kiefer, Justin Kooker and Cassidy Kooker,  great-grandchildren, Phillip Green, Delaney F. Scaramuzzo, Tanner Frankenfield, Sage Frankenfield, Eleanor Hawkins, Iris Hawkins, Kaylen Kiefer, Judah Kiefer and Eliana Kiefer, great-great-grandchild Luca Scaramuzzo, son-in-law, James Varner of Arbovale, WV, sister-in-law Mary Ziegler of Souderton and brother-in-law Arthur Lawton of Tifton, GA.

In addition to her husband and parents she was preceded in death by a daughter Karen Varner and her siblings, Glen Ziegler, Robert Ziegler, Lois Lawton and David Ziegler.

A memorial service will be held at 11 AM on Monday, February 19, at the Williams-Bergey-Koffel Funeral Home, Inc., 667 Harleysville Pike, Telford, 18969, where the family will receive friends from 10-10:45 AM. Interment will be in Zion Memorial Gardens.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Zion Mennonite Church, 149 E. Cherry Lane, Souderton, PA 18964.
