Arden "Ardie" Moyer, 90, of Franconia Township, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Tuesday, June 9, 2026. He was the beloved husband of the late Sonja (Derstine) Moyer, with whom he shared more than 54 years of marriage.

Born in Franconia Township, he was the son of the late Raymond F. and Susan (Landes) Moyer.

Ardie spent much of his working career as a long-haul truck driver. Over the years, he worked for Raymond B. Long, V&J Derstine, Clemmer Martin, and Pillsbury. He later enjoyed driving tour buses for Hagey Tours and, in retirement, transporting vehicles for Bergey's, Inc.

Ardie was a longtime member of Souderton Mennonite Church and, more recently, became a member of Grace Mennonite Church in Lansdale.

Ardie had a love for the outdoors and treasured the many hunting and fishing trips he took to Canada, as well as the time spent at his cabin in Wellsboro. He also enjoyed snowmobiling and looked forward each year to spending time at his winter home in Sarasota, Florida.

He is survived by his devoted friend and companion of 12 years, Marilyn Halteman; his sister-in-law, Elaine Moyer; nieces Cynthia Moyer-Neel, Janelle Ferrence, Trisha Snyder, Donna Keller, Wendy Laureio, Andrea Bergey, and Cynthia Derstine; and nephews Jeffrey Derstine and Steve Histand.

A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 13, 2026, at Grace Mennonite Church, 630 York Avenue, Lansdale, PA 19446. The family will greet friends immediately following the service. Interment will be private at Souderton Mennonite Church Cemetery.
