Obituary

Anthony Albert Volpe of Hatfield, PA passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Tuesday, March 31, 2026. He was 85.

Tony was preceded in death by his parents Umberto Volpe and Lena Cavalier (Volpe), his brother Felix Volpe, and sister Josephine Taylor.

He is survived by his partner of 17 years, Dolores Beyer, her son Tony (Monica) and their son Mason. He is also survived by his loving daughters Karen Kovalick, Lisa Hoff (Mike), and Valerie Moll (Tim). Tony is also survived by his beloved grandchildren Connor Hoff, Megan Suminski (Brian), Nathan Kovalick, Kaylin Moll, Lauren Kovalick, Lacey Moll and his great granddaughter Maya Suminski. He also leaves behind his brother Johnny Volpe, sister Mary Volpe and his brother Frank Volpe (Josephine).

Tony was born in Norristown, PA, where he attended high school. He proudly served in the United States Army and then attended Villanova University where he earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering.

After a 30-year career with Honeywell, he retired. Tony had a passion for traveling and soon after he retired; he traveled throughout the United States where he completed his bucket list of seeing every National park. Tony also found great joy in playing golf and fishing. He could be found during football season, cheering on his favorite team, the Philadelphia Eagles, with his family by his side. His family will surely miss his signature Thanksgiving turkeys and how much he truly enjoyed cooking for all of us during the holidays!

The family will receive friends from 11:00 to 11:45 AM on Monday, April 13, at Williams-Bergey-Koffel Funeral Home, Inc., 667 Harleysville Pike, Telford, PA 18969, where words of remembrance will be shared at 11:45 AM.

A graveside service with military honors will follow at 2:00 PM on Monday, April 13, at Washington Crossing National Cemetery, 830 Highland Road, Newtown, PA 18940.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to The American Heart Association .
