Obituary

Anthony "Tony" G. Teti, Sr., age 77, of Emmaus, died unexpectedly on December 13, 2021. He was born August 19, 1944, in Philadelphia.  He was the beloved husband of Kathleen (Geere) Teti, with whom he shared over 52 years of marriage.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children, Diane Fegley and her husband, Rich, Anthony Teti Jr. and his wife, Dana, and Doug Teti; grandchildren, Xavier Fegley and Bryce, Ryan, Gabrielle, Olivia and Carter Teti; and his sister, Rosalie Chambers.  He was predeceased by his parents, Camillo and Josephine Teti; and his brother, Alfredo Teti.

Anthony was best known for his love of spackling, for saving every home improvement item "just in case" and for dragging on projects for months. He was the owner of Tribank Mortgages from which he refused to retire, former owner of Laser Heating & Cooling and former accountant for Lee Tires. He worked hard to acquire several rental properties and was known to help his tenants advance themselves and was considered a friend by many of them.

Anthony was the best "Poppy" and immensely loved his grandchildren.  He was known for his sense of humor and had an immeasurable love for life.  He was always happy and never without a smile on his face whether giving back to his community by donating children's coats to local schools, when volunteering at a haunted house or snuggling with his daughter's foster kids. He had a passion and knowledge of real estate which he passed along to his kids and anyone who would listen. Anthony enjoyed dinners with friends, followed by cards.  He loved going to the beach, especially to fish, and it will always be a special place where he will be remembered by his family.

Anthony served his country honorably in the Army National Guard. He had his undergraduate degree from Philadelphia Textiles and master's from St. Joseph's University.  Prior to moving to the Lehigh Valley, Anthony resided in Upper Gwynedd.
