Anthony's career in banking spanned 35 years, where he was a VP and Consumer Loan officer at Continental, Midlantic, PNC, and Fox Chase Banks. Living in Upper Salford Township for over 40 years, he played an active role in the Citizens for Open Space Group to preserve the township's rural setting.
Anthony was a devoted husband for 45 years, dedicated father, and loving grandfather. In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son, Jeffrey Chiarelli and his wife, Kelly, of Lansdale PA; his daughter, Andrea (Chiarelli) Nehila and her husband, Kevin, of Gilbertsville, PA; his two grandsons, Bryce Nehila and Colton Chiarelli; along with two sisters, Judy (Chiarelli) Antosy and Rob Peck of Muhlenberg Twp, PA, and Marlene (Chiarelli) Actis-Grande and Michael of Breinigsville, PA. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his infant son, Bryan Neil Chiarelli.
Anthony lived his life to the fullest through simple pleasures including chatting with family and friends, hosting weekly zoom sessions with the Chiarelli clan, playing with his grandsons, walking on the Perkiomen Trail, and enjoying a good Italian meal. He also enjoyed collecting vinyl records, coins, and memorabilia from trips, concerts, and special events. Watching sports was one of his favorite hobbies, and one could always find him cheering on his favorite teams, especially Penn State football and all of the Philadelphia sports teams.
