Anna Mae (Matthias) Texter, 87, a resident of Perkasie, PA, since 1966, passed away at home on Monday night, August 5, 2024, after an illness. She and her husband, Kenneth W. Texter, would have celebrated their 62nd wedding anniversary on September 22nd of this year.

Born June 19, 1937, in Dublin, PA, she was a daughter of the late John and Anna (Dorn) Matthias. She was employed for many years at the Lansdale Tile Company.

Mrs. Texter was a member of St. Andrew's Evangelical Lutheran Church of Perkasie, PA, and was a past matron of Lenape Chapter #339, Order of the Eastern Star. She enjoyed cooking and baking.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by a son, David W. Texter of Sellersville, PA; and two sisters, Margaret Sames of Richlandtown, PA, and Helen Kutt of Herford, PA.

She was preceded in death by two brothers, John and Jacob Matthias; and four sisters, Mary Labs, Lillian Stintsman, Rose Funk and Kathryn Horger.
