Anna Mae Bishop, 87, of Harleysville, passed away on Friday, April 19, 2024, at the Peter Becker Community, Harleysville, where she was a long-time resident. She was the wife of the late Jacob Merrill Bishop, with whom she shared 66 years of marriage.

The daughter of the late Norman and Esther Hostelley, Anna Mae was a graduate of North Wales High School.

She is survived by her children, Steven Bishop, husband of Athena Katsifis, and Kathleen Taylor, wife of John Taylor, and grandchildren Allison Taylor, Steven Taylor, Eleni Toto and Georgia Toto.

Her passions included cooking, sewing, and her family, for whom she never stopped providing. During her children's years in the North Penn School District, Anna Mae was constantly involved in enhancing programs, especially when it came to fund-raising for the Marching Knights. Her giving continued through her years at Peter Becker, where she contributed heavily to the bake sales, flower shows, and other Benevolent fund raising events.

A funeral service will be held at 11 AM on Wednesday April 24 in the chapel at Peter Becker Community, 800 Maple Ave., Harleysville, 19438, where the family will receive friends from 10-10:45 AM. Interment will be at Whitemarsh Memorial Park.
