Anita Marie Baird of Schwenksville, PA, passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by family on Saturday, December 17, 2022.  She was the daughter of Barbara Boyle Baird of Ocean City, NJ and the late George Robert Baird.  She was a loving daughter, sister, aunt and niece.

She is survived by her twin sister Barbara Snyder (Wayne), of Schwenksville, with whom she resided, sister Cynthia L. Baird of Telford and brother Robert Baird (Lynne) of Steubenville Ohio, nieces Ellen and Emily Baird, nephews Ian and Daniel Baird all of Steubenville, Ohio and uncles, Robert Boyle of Gilbert, AZ and John Boyle of Ocean City, NJ.

Anita was born in Roxborough on May 25, 1957, and attended Gwynedd Mercy Academy, Lansdale Catholic High School, class of 1975 and Roxborough Memorial Hospital School of Nursing, receiving her RN in 1984. She continued her education after attaining her RN in pursuit of her BSN degree.  Throughout her career she worked as a cardiac intensive care nurse and later as a home health care nurse with Grandview Hospital Home Care, bringing comfort and compassionate care to many patients with her beautiful smile, her sense of humor and her desire to help others.

Anita enjoyed completing a daily crossword puzzle, reading, gardening, listening to music and spending time with family and friends and caring for her pets, Bear, Squirt and Miss LA.

Anita was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents Henrietta E. and George H. Baird, maternal grandparents Anna B. and Bernard J. Boyle, her uncle Rev. Bernard J. Boyle S.J. and niece Elizabeth Hope Baird.

A Funeral Mass will be held on at 11 AM Saturday, January 28, at St. Mary Catholic Church, 40 Spring Mount Road, Schwenksville, PA 19473.  Interment will be private in St. John Neumann Cemetery.
