Alice Mary (Williams) Smith, 90, a resident of Lansdale, PA, since 2016, formerly of Hatfield, PA, and Telford, PA, passed away Monday morning, April 14, 2025. She and her husband, Rev. W. Donald Smith, would have celebrated their 72nd wedding anniversary on June 6th of this year.

Born July 26, 1934, in Tamaqua, PA, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Helen (Gould) Williams. She was a 1952 graduate of Tamaqua High School and then graduated from Pierce Business School. Mrs. Smith worked as secretary to the dean at University of Pennsylvania College for Women. She later was employed as a secretary for three elementary schools in the Quakertown School District.

Mrs. Smith was a long-time active member of Christ Reformed Church at Indian Creek in Telford, PA, where her husband served as pastor from 1972 until 1999. She sang in the church choir, directed the children's choir for many years, and served in many capacities at the church over the years. A student of the piano since the age of four, she played at many functions and social gatherings. She was a member of the Zion Choral Society and loved doting on her grandchildren.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by a son, Rev. Bradley S. Smith and his wife, Patricia, of Sellersville, PA; five grandchildren: Brian Szewczak, Andrew Smith, Caitlin Wismer, Lauren Yanan, and Joseph Szewczak; and twelve great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Marianne Smith.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral service at 11 am on Friday, April 18, 2025, at Christ Reformed Church at Indian Creek, 171 Church Road, Telford, PA 18969, where the viewing will take place from 10-10:45 am. Burial will follow in the adjoining church cemetery. Funeral arrangements are by the Williams-Bergey-Koffel Funeral Home, Inc. of Franconia, PA.
