Alfred A. Jainnini, Sr., 98, of Sellersville, formally of Susquehanna, passed away on Friday, February 17, 2023. He was the beloved husband of the late Lillian Jainnini.

Born in Philadelphia, he was the son of the late William and Rose Jainnini.

Alfred proudly served his country from 1942 to 1945 in the U.S. Navy during WW2, and then he also served in the U.S. Army from 1947 to 1953 during the Korean War. After retiring from his military duties, he went into construction and then later into the automobile industry, where he worked for Chapman Auto group. He loved his children and grandchildren dearly.

He was always there, especially when he was needed the most and always greeted everyone with "but darling".  His happiness was his mountain home, where he resided with his wife Lillian.

He was the beloved father of Eveline Jainnini Taylor (Jack), Rosemarie Jainnini Urban (Joe), Cosmo Barbardo (Joanne), Phyllis Brooks, Alfred Jainnini (Melody), and Chris Jainnini and brother of Rita Chapall.

He is also survived by grandchildren and great grandchildren and 4 stepchildren.

A funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 AM on Friday, February 24, at St. Maria Goretti Catholic Church, 1601 Derstine Road, Hatfield, Pa 19440, where the family will receive friends from 9:30-10:15 AM.

Interment will be held at 11 AM on Tuesday, February 28 at  Washington Crossing Cemetery.
